Today’s Card of the Day is the 5 of Cups reversed. This is a reminder that not all “bad” situations are negative. Instead they are necessary and full of potential. Instead we ought to step away from the narrow perspective that is stuck in the details and look at the larger picture which may reveal the situation’s or circumstances’ grander role. Difficult times are brought into our lives for various reasons but they can be used as ways to better ourselves. It is through battling the lower situations that we learn our strength and value, thus allowing us to rise above in our true worth. This doesn’t mean they suck. They do but with this card, we are being challenged to find the silver lining within the disappointment. What can be learned? What is the purpose of this situation? Even the smallest glimmer can shine bright.
If we think about the vastness of our universe and the neverending space, we can already begin shifting our perspective as we begin to realize our problems aren’t as bad as we initially viewed them.
This is our message for today. Simply take note of how you view things and when you get down, feel frustrated, upset or annoyed then find a way to shift your perspective of the situation, like we naturally do when gazing at the stars and into space. Ask yourself: what you can learn from this situation? How can you use it as an opportunity for growth? Shift your perspective from life happening to you to one where you are actively creating and dancing with your life. That’s exactly what it can feel like. A dance but guess what, YOU are the leader! You can change your life and shifting your perspective is a first step to creating the life you want.
You just have to start. I believe in you. Do you believe in yourself?
Brightest of Blessings,
The Autumn Witch

Love is the highest and purest vibrational frequency there is. In Spirit, there is only love. It is ego which pulls us down and away. Are you loving enough? Are you allowing yourself to love? This doesn’t only need be the intimate love of lovers but also extends to our family, our friends, our community, our country, and to the world as a whole. Do you love your fellow brothers and sisters? The past several months have been plagued with anger, envy, indignation, and much heated debates. While our outrage may be justified, try shifting your thoughts from anger and hate towards those who are in the wrong to simply love for those you are trying to protect. You can still be furious and fight to protect others’ rights but try shifting your focus on love. Your anger stems from the love you have from your fellow brothers and sisters.
